What is the process to change from sole proprietorships to Corp, LLC or s-corporation? what are the paper work? Is it difficult to do? I’m looking to start as sole proprietor first and then maybe change to S-Corp, or Corp, or LLC later if things go well. Thanks for any advice.

I’m debating on a corportation or llc. My business will profit less than 50,000per year and I would like to now what taxes are involved. Can anyone give me advice and tax rates. Thanks!
Formed an OH LLC this past year with my wife. The IRS defaulted us to a 1065 return. I would prefer to be an S-Corp or a C-Corp. To be a C-Corp do I only need to file Form 8832? If I want to file as and S-Corp do I need to file Form 8832 and Form 2553?
We (3 of us lives in different states) started a new partnership/LLC company in Maryland in 2006 (one of us lives in Maryland). We had a few thousand dollar expenses (for equipments) but had no income nor any real business in 2006. We need some basic knowledge about filing the tax.
1. We do not have any accounting person. Do we need to hire one or it is pretty simple and we can do ourselves?
2. What software we can use?
3. When is the deadline for filing federal and state tax?
4. Any other suggestions?

I created an LLC partnership with my brother in Colorado. We haven’t launched our online business yet and therefore have made no money. I know we don’t have to file an SE form, but does the LLC still have to file a 1065 tax form?
